Igor Bloch studied History of Art in Warsaw, Tel Aviv and London.
He completed his MA at the Courtauld Institue of Art. He was taught by Waldemar Baraniewski and Klara Kemp-Welch, preeminent scholars in the field of Central and Eastern European modern and contemporary history of art. He is an author of the pioneering research on the State-owned Enterprise Desa, art trade monopolist in Communist Poland. He worked for the ING Bank at the ING Polish Art Foundation and for Desa Unicum Auction House. Currently, Igor Bloch serves as Art Collection Manager of the Hotel Europejski Art Collection at Raffles Europejski Warsaw.
